Winged Unicorn Priestess

 This is the first time I’ve created such a creature and it’s been so very long sense I’ve drawn an equineisk Species. I wanted to portray the character as a strong warrior rather than the seemingly week and docile creatures Unicorns are usually portrayed as in myth. But, I still wanted it to embody the purity and grace so characteristic of the species. A warrior priestess was a perfect and obvious choice in my mind to pull off such a feat.

 On a bit of an artistic note I tried a different technique for texturing feathers on this one. It was a lot easier and faster to pull off than previous techniques I’ve used in the past and I’m satisfied with the results. Its detailed but not overly detailed and looks realistic enough.
