Description
This was done in a similar fashion as my earlier piece “Doe Study”, simple clothing to best show off the figures anatomical shape and features and a rather generic pose, nothing really flashy or note worthy, but gives the viewer the most visual information. I personally like this perspective and pose for anatomy study purposes so I end up using variations of it a lot in my works, if you haven't noticed.
On top of all the anatomy focus of this piece, I also tried something new texture wise for scales. Anyone who's gotten to know me, knows of my ongoing struggle with scales, while I can draw a character with every scale on its body and very detailed, it does deter me from wanting to draw any sort of character with scales, because of all the work which is required to do so. Hence why reptiles and the like are relatively sparse in my gallery here. I don't find drawing repetitive shapes very fun personally, I'd rather draw the natural flowing lines and randomness of hair and fur. I like the results but I think it made parts of the drawing look incomplete so I don't really know. *shrugs*
Below you can find “Doe Study” if you wish to take a look at it too:
Hope you all enjoy, and this piece helps you understand my interpretation of anthropomorphic Cobra Anatomy for your own works.
